PDF generation

Choose a language and page count to generate a localized filler-text PDF. The PDF journey does not need a recipe. Select a language and page count, then submit the job. The page limit is controlled by policy, and the default price is 100 credits per page. Embedded Unicode fonts cover supported scripts. GBDDL validation and pricing are shared across Chef, the HTTP API and MCP. Consult the recipe language, output formats, and credit model for the supported syntax and behavior.

Use POST /api/v1/pdf/estimate with JSON fields language (ISO 639-3 code) and pages. The response reports cost, balance and the current page ceiling. Submit the same fields to POST /api/v1/pdf/jobs with X-Max-Cost; use Idempotency-Key for retry protection. Both operations need the generate scope. Poll and download through the normal job endpoints. MCP exposes this workflow as ghostbakery_create_pdf.

PDF generates filler-text pages. It does not render arbitrary templates or relational recipe output.
